What is your role at Terrara House?

I'm the Estate Operations Manager of Terrara House, having previously worked in all areas including in the kitchen, grounds, house and maintenance.

What parts of your job are you most passionate about?

I really enjoy every aspect of delivering a good service, I’ve spent so many years working behind the scenes in kitchens that now being involved on the other side closer to our guests and the whole experience we provide them from start to finish, is something that I’m very keen and excited to be doing.

What did you do before coming to work at Terrara House?

I’ve been in the hospitality industry since 2007 when I started my studies to become a chef back in Chile, somehow I ended up in Australia where I’ve spent the last 6 years in Jervis Bay at Paperbark Camp as their sous chef

What is your favourite spot at Terrara House?

Definitely the balcony, for its serenity And amazing view to the front lawns and the hundreds of dairy cows from our neighbour

What is your favourite thing about living in the Shoalhaven region?

You really need to enjoy a quiet lifestyle if you want to live here, that’s what I like the most about this region. besides we have such an amazing variety of locally made produce, and obviously the beauty of the whole area

Tell us (up to three) ‘fun facts’ about you?

I’ve always liked challenging and testing my abilities, which left me with a wide range of useless skills like solving a rubik's cube, juggling and riding a unicycle just to name a few. Also there’s nothing I can’t fix with the right amount of time and tape.
