How did you and your partner meet?

We met at university when we both started our masters of physio. We were strictly “just friends” when we first started hanging out… but this didn’t last long! 3 months into knowing each other we were spending almost every day together, and then 6 months later we were living together and got our fur baby, Winnie.

How did you or partner propose?

B and I were on a European trip together for 3 months. We met up with B’s long time school friends (which we were so excited about!). After the most incredible day out at the natural springs and frolicking about the Tuscan hills, we returned back to our beautiful hotel and were going to have a low key dinner at home. I showered, washed my hair, put my trackies on – you know got myself sorted to settle in for the evening. B requested an evening walk together to digest, whilst his friend sneakily hid in the bushes. As the sun set behind us, B asked me to be his wife!                                                                                                                    

What was your favourite part of your ceremony?

Liv – moments just before with my parents and my bridal party. We were taking a moment to breathe it all in, a few quick snaps, giggles and a boogie. Of course, then seeing B’s face as I walked down the aisle.

B -  My favourite moment of the ceremony were sharing our vows to one another.

What did you love about your reception?

I absolutely loved that we sat with our guests. We had 4 long tables and decided to sit with our bridal party and family together with our guests which was so special.

Speeches were definitely a highlight, but I don’t remember much else other than the dancefloor. Looking back on our photos, there wasn’t a single person left at the tables!

What is your advice for any future couples planning their wedding?  

Take a moment (big or small) to be together and acknowledge what you are doing. Say it out loud, get a coffee and take the scenic route to your location, meet up with your favourite humans and talk about the moments you are excited for. Laugh a lot!
